If you're like me in that you love a good, well directed stylish piece of FMV (full motion video) showing off your favourite characters, or fictional universe or whatever, then there's a god chance you're going to love the opening FMV to DC Universe Online from Sony Online Entertainment.
However, the downside to having such incredible videos thrown at us is, of course, that the final product will look anything but so good. Still, it shows the potential for movies or more stemming from such high production values, and while fleeting, it's a brief moment of awesome for the geeky of us out there.
At any rate, check out this six-minute plus video for DC Universe Online.

Pretty awesome video except:
1) time travel sucks a dick
2) pretty sure even Superman couldn't have heard Diana scream through SPACE
Don't they realise NERDS watch these things?@#

Yeah, I've gotta say that FMV was stupidly awesome. Pity it's for an MMO and the time travel thing ruined it at the end. I would definitely pay to see that in the cinema or at least buy the blu-ray.

1)Time travel rocks as evident by the back to the future movies.
2)He's f***ing superman. He can hear colours if he wants to.

It usually goes like this. Awesome cinematic > Bad game/MMO. Just look at WAR, that was a f***ing sweet cinematic, and I still watch it to this day, but it was a terrible MMO. Terrible.

You must be mistaken, cable and bishop are marvel characters, not dc.

doesn't detract from their awesomeness being related to time travel.

Too many superheroes. I'm sure it's a bonerfest for people that read comic books, but for someone like me whose familiarity with these guys extends to about Dean Cain and Michael Keaton, it was pretty confusing.

I too would like to see the makers of the CGI go ahead and make a full length movie (90minutes? 2 hours?).
Them and the guys doing cinematics for BioWare and Blizzard.
